THE SUN The sun is the biggest planet in our solar system. The sun is a big ball of hot gas.

MURCURY Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. We could not live on mercury because it is to hot.

VENUS Venus is the second planet from the sun. Venus is to hot to live on because it is so close to the sun.

EARTH Earth is the only known planet to support life. There is more water than land on Earth.

MARS mars is the fourth planet from the sun. we do not know any life form that can survive on mars.

ASTEROID BELT The asteroid belt separates the inner planets from the outer planets. the asteroid belt is a big line of asteroids in the shape of a belt.

JUPITER Only 8 space crafts have landed on Jupiter. Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun.

SATURN Saturn is the sixths planet from the sun . Saturn is the second planet from the asteroid belt.

URANUS Uranus is tilted side ways on it’s axis . Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun.

NEPTUNE Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun. Neptune is the fourth planet from the asteroid belt.

DWARF PLANET PLUTO Pluto is a dwarf planet and is the ninth planet from the sun. Pluto is the fifth planet from the asteroid belt.
