But are these actual FACTs? What’s the Big Deal about Pot? It’s not that bad…. …lots of people do it …it’s not addictive …it cures cancer …it’s all natural …it just makes me relaxed and mellow But are these actual FACTs?

Marijuana

Sadly, pot can have a significant impact on a teen’s MENTAL HEALTH Regular pot use during adolescence has been scientifically proven to increase the risk of teens developing: : Anxiety : Depression by 2 to 5 times

Schizophrenia is when you have delusions, hallucinations, hear voices, become paranoid, and so much more  But wait, there’s more! The adolescent brain is especially susceptible to marijuana use. those who use marijuana are twice as likely to have had a suicide attempt requiring hospitalization Since 2002, almost a dozen studies have shown that regular use of marijuana carries a significant increased risk of developing psychotic illnesses like schizophrenia.

The teen brain reacts to pot differently than the adult brain The adolescent brain is VERY susceptible to marijuana use. 1 in 6 teens who use will become addicted to pot! When teens use pot, they have a greater chance of becoming addicted to it since their brains are still developing – and will be until their 20s

The teen brain reacts to pot differently than the adult brain

There are more teens in rehab Think pot is pretty easy to quit? There are more teens in rehab trying to get over pot than over any other drug, including alcohol

Some argue that just because you smoke pot, it doesn’t mean you will do any other drugs… Maybe not, but look at this rehab centre’s stats, after examining 30,000 patients! Begin with marijuana (12, 511 patients) 89.7% start using a 2nd drug (11,218 patients) 71.9% start using a 3rd drug (8,067 patients) 72% went on to a THIRD type of drug

Which brain do YOU want?
