Actual Gage Scenario Currently in the Gage this distance is fixed at basic location, but this part should be spring loaded and progress through profile tolerance (from 40.84 to 43.84). 42.34 Datum A surface is Fixed. Gage is spring loaded to move parallel to Datum A to make maximum contact with Datum D surface. Datum Feature Simulator Physical

If Datums have this orientation error (I am magnifying it), how can we evaluate the lower segment of 0.25mm? With respect to an average plane between A and D maybe? What does the standard say?
