How can I help myself when I use PEEEA How can I help myself when I use PEEEA? Also, how do I get a Level 8 or A*? Start with Evidence – What can I find in the text which answers the question? (underline it in the text, when you write it remember “…” quotation marks around it) Then write your point – What does this make me think? (Write it before the evidence and in a full sentence) To explain – How does the evidence I have selected support what I said about my point? (Avoid repeating your point here) To explore – What else does the evidence suggest to me? What other ideas do I have about what this is trying to tell me? (Use phrases such as - I also, Furthermore, Connected to, As well as, In addition…) To analyse – What is my opinion on this? Do I agree or disagree and why do I think this? Can I say anything else at all which helps me answer the question? What is the effect on me as a reader? Why do I think this?
