A Living Stone In A Spiritual House A building of the Lord’s making (Matt. 16:18) This building has a sure foundation (1 Peter 2:6-7, re. Isa. 28:16) The chief cornerstone lays out the building Jesus is the Cornerstone (Acts 4:10-11) The church rests of this foundation and cornerstone (Eph. 2:20-22) A difference: The Old Testament temple was physical The New Testament temple is spiritual

Serving In A Holy Priesthood The Old Testament had a priesthood Descendants of Aaron {Levi} (Ex. 28:1, et al) They serve in the sanctuary (2 Chron. 29:5, 11) All was action of a physical nature
