Bachelor Degree Programs Program 40.03.01 «Legal Studies» Specialisations: STATE LAW CIVIL LAW CRIMINAL LAW

Types of occupational activities: regulatory development regulatory enforcement law enforcement consulting

State Law This speciality is oriented towards training of professionals in legal support of activities of state and local municipal authorities. We pay special attention to the regulatory environment of state and municipal services, regulatory development and enforcement performed by state and local municipal authorities. Our graduates of the “State Law” speciality occupy positions in state government bodies of the RF subjects, territorial authorities of the executive federal bodies, local government bodies, the RF prosecution authorities. Besides, our graduates of the “State Law” speciality also work at non-governmental organisations in positions, which require communication with authorities.

Civil Law This speciality is oriented towards training of lawyers to work in legal support of market economy, turnover of immovable property, bankruptcy, area of residential property, labour area, social care, pre-judicial and judicial protection of rights of individuals and entities, execution proceedings, intellectual properties, medical laws, stock markets, as well as in private law international relations. Education in the “Civil Law” speciality allows our students to occupy positions in state and municipal bodies and work in the fields of administration of public property, antimonopoly regulation, state and municipal government procurement, stock market regulation, etc. Simulation of civil proceedings in court.

Criminal Law The high demand in students of the “Criminal Law” speciality is determined by their development as polymathic persons, by the development of civil society institutions as well as the Russian state institutions requiring immersion in multidimensional legal relations between various types of entities and individuals and their further legal support in the criminal law field to protect their rights that is the main function of lawyers. The “Criminal Law” speciality is oriented towards training of lawyers to work at courts of general jurisdiction, bailiff service, bodies and divisions of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs, the RF Investigative Committee, prosecution authorities, Federal Security Service of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs.
