A prayer for all of us Here in our school Let us be peaceful at all times. Let our rooms be full of happiness And respect for each other. Let love be in our hearts With kindness and compassion for all. Let us remember In learning together, We grow together Work and improve things for everyone .

Has been our focus this week in P5/6 RESPONSIBILITY Has been our focus this week in P5/6

Let’s think about how we can be responsible.

By showing RESPECT for ourself for others for the environment for our differences for our similarities

What does a RESPONSIBLE person do?

Leave things how you found them Put things back properly Do the right thing and apologise if wrong

What could happen if I am not responsible? Why should I be responsible? What could happen if I am not responsible?

There are always CONSEQUENCES for your actions.

We all have different kinds of responsibilities …

(to other people, animals and the Earth) We have a Moral Responsibility (to other people, animals and the Earth)

Family Responsibility (to your parents and other family members) We have a Family Responsibility (to your parents and other family members)

Community Responsibility (to your local community) We have a Community Responsibility (to your local community)

Responsibility to Customs, Traditions, Beliefs and Rules

Personal Responsibility (to yourself!)

Look at the following slides to understand the consequences of taking responsibility (or not) for our world… n
