Becoming Global Citizens The Focus Areas of the United Nations, and Global Classrooms!

Group Activity What do you think are some problems currently facing Madrid? Which do you consider to be the most critical? Group activity: in groups of 2-4 students create a list of vital world issues that you know of. Which do you consider to be the most important? --On the board make a list of all the issues that they students come up with. These will be later compared to the MDGs.

Millennium Development Goals In 2000 the eight Millennium Development Goals were established aimed mainly at developing countries The target deadline was set as September 2015. The goals were met with varying success.
