Analysis of Educational Researches of SSA Uttarakhand Process Formal/Informal discussions with SIEMAT faculties Informal discussion with Research Agencies working with SIEMAT Study of Documents – EoI, ToR, Study Proposals, Research Reports Own experience of working with State Government Purpose : To understand the processes and use of educational research conducted by SSA

Analysis of Educational Researches of SSA Uttarakhand Key Observations Research topics are not explored in a Methodical manner Research Agencies are identified based on Financial Proposal. No mechanism to incorporate research recommendations in policy/program SIEMAT is the only institution facilitating research studies, but - Has provision of only one HoD, One Professional and one Jr. Professional No research background of any of these people. Mechanism in place to conduct researches but it has some fundamental issues. Most of the studies are evaluation studiesevaluation
