How to Use a Resource Checklist to Evaluate Internet Sources

A strong research paper avoids information from unreliable sources.

Every time I open a source, I use the resource checklist to evaluate that source.

Meaning: How old is this information? Is this source current? Meaning: How old is this information?

Meaning: Is this a secure website? Is this source safe? Meaning: Is this a secure website?

Is this source appropriate? Meaning: Is this website good for middle school?

Is this source trustworthy? Meaning: Is this author a an expert?

Is this source accurate? Meaning: Does this source contain correct info?

Current? Safe? Appropriate? Trustworthy? Accurate?
