What are Large Group Interventions (LGI)? 3 “Large Group Interventions for organizational and community changes are methods involving the whole system, internal and external, in the change process. The aim is to involve a critical mass of people to affect change.” Large Group Interventions are for organizational and community changes are methods involving the whole system, internal and external, in the change process. The aim is to involve a critical mass of people to affect change. So in a nutshell, whole-system change process allows those who to participate in: Understanding the need to change Analyzing current reality to decide what needs to change Generating ideas about how to change Implementing and supporting change ~ Alban & Bunker Large Group Interventions 1997

Why do we need them? Speed, fast responses and actionable steps to solve problems. Leaders (Good Ones) want ideas from their people. Engaging everyone means buy-in and access to information.
