Quadratic Functions Standard Form: y = ax2 + bx + c The graph of a quadratic equation is a parabola.

Quadratic Functions Vertex: The highest or lowest point on a parabola Axis of symmetry: Divides the parabola into mirror images and passes through the vertex

Quadratic Functions Every point on a parabola (except the vertex) has a corresponding point the same distance from the axis of symmetry.
