The Power of Fluid Power Fluid power is energy transmitted and controlled by pressurized fluid (liquid or gas). The term fluid power applies to both hydraulics and pneumatics. Hydraulics uses pressurized liquid. Pneumatics uses compressed air or gases. Fluid power can be combined with other technologies through the use of sensors, transducers and microprocessors. © Super Swivels - Hydraulic Live Swivels

Fluid power applications Some Uses of Fluid Power Include: Mobile: Used to transport, excavating and lifting of materials and to control or power mobile equipment. Industries include construction, agriculture, marine and the military. Applications include: backhoes, graders, tractors, brakes, suspensions, spreaders, highway maintenance Industrial: Used to provide power transmission and motion control for machines. End use industries range from plastics working to paper production. Applications include : assembly equipment., automated manipulators, controllers, material handling, metalworking equipment Aerospace: Used for commercial and military aircraft, spacecraft and related support equipment. brakes, flight controls, landing gear, motor controls, cargo loading equipment. © Super Swivels - Hydraulic Live Swivels

Switch Your Swivel For Better Hose Flow Super Swivels provide many advantages including: Simplified Connections: Super Swivels can connect directly to hose lines which would do away with adapters. Super Swivels reduce the complexity of hose lines for 90° connections. Less hose is required with Super Swivels live swivels reducing space needs. Pivoting 90° Swivel © Super Swivels - Hydraulic Live Swivels

Switch Your Swivel For Better Hose Flow Super Swivels provide many advantages including: Reduced Hose Twisting: Super Swivels live swivel action reduces risk of hose twisting and kinking even in 90° angel connections. Less System Shock: The increased hose movement allowed by Super Swivels superior design reduces system rigidity and helps absorb some system impulses. Pivoting 90° Dual-Pane Swivel © Super Swivels - Hydraulic Live Swivels

Switch Your Swivel For Better Hose Flow Super Swivels provide many advantages including: Reduce Maintenance & Downtime: Less hydraulic line congestion, hose kinking, shock damage and twisting means lower maintenance costs and less downtime. Reduced Cost: Simplified hose configuration, less hose and adapters when combined with reduced repairs and downtime reduce the overall cost of hydraulics. No Hose Kinking No Hose Twisting © Super Swivels - Hydraulic Live Swivels

Base Material and Plating Super Swivels are manufactured from Carbon Steel or 304 and 440C Stainless Steel. Carbon Steel Zinc (Z) Plating is recommended for non-corrosive applications, i.e. hydraulic, pneumatic, etc. Carbon Steel Nickel (NI) Plating is recommended for mildly corrosive environments, i.e. water, mild chemicals, solvents, etc. 304 Stainless Steel (304) is recommended for low pressure corrosive environments. 440C Stainless Steel (SS) is a martensitic, high carbon, magnetic stainless steel, heat-treated to maintain a high-pressure rating. Not as corrosion resistant as 300 Series Stainless Steel. © Super Swivels - Hydraulic Live Swivels

Seal Compatibility Super Swivels Seal Options Include: Viton,® Aflas,® EPR, Buna, & Simriz® Different Seals are Compatible with a Wide Range of Fluids Including: Automatic transmission fluid , acetone, air, asphalt, benzene, brake fluid (glycol, silicone & mineral), carbon tetrachloride, engine oil (sf, sf cd), ethylene glycol, FREON®, hydraulic fluids (petroleum), hydrochloric acid, methyl ethyl ketone, naphtha, oxygen (gaseous), power steering fluid, salt water, SKYDROL 500 B4®, soap solutions, sulfuric acid, toluene, trichlorethylene, urethane and water Super Swivels® are not recommended for breathing air. © Super Swivels - Hydraulic Live Swivels
