God is by nature good He is "morally excellent, extraordinarily beautiful, deeply glad, and extravagantly bountiful. God alone is goodness itself.. “No One is good except God alone.” Mark 10:18

God's goodness concentrates on what He does. the Bible describes God’s goodness in ways that point to His kindness, His mercy, His steadfast love, His generosity.

How do you explain God’s Goodness? #1 GOD IS GOOD BECAUSE HE PROVIDES FRIENDS AND FAMILY FOR SUPPORT IN OUR TIME OF NEED In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, the writer said, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!"

#2 GOD IS GOOD BECAUSE HE HAS PREPARED A WAY FOR US TO COMMUNICATE WITH HIM. "Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.“ James 5:13 Prayer is the communication link between us and God

GOD IS GOOD BECAUSE HE PLANNED A CHURCH FOR OUR ENCOURAGEMENT Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.“Heb:10:25 God was reminding us how important it is for us to gather with other Christians in a time of worship

#4.GOD IS GOOD BECAUSE HE GAVE US JESUS TO ANSWER THE QUESTION OF TRAGEDY AND DEATH. "For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all shall be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:21- 22. God was so good to send Jesus to take the sting out of death, to provide us a way out of our sin, and to give us victory in death.
