The chair reserves the right to limit the amount of time available for any presentation.

General Procedures for Meetings (Continued) All attendees are reminded that formal votes of the panel members will be secured by letter ballot. Voting at the TC or CMP meeting is used to establish a sense of agreement, but only the results of the formal ballot determine the official position of IEEE-SA on any proposal.

General Procedures for Meetings (Continued) Guest chairs are located around the room as a courtesy to our guests. Please do not place books, briefcases, and other items on these chairs. This Committee Meeting is Nonsmoking.

Robert’s Rules of Order Chair will declare the TC or CMP to be discussed Discussion will establish IEEE-SA position Positions opposing full CMP or TC action will require statements Handling Motions: Robert’s Rules of Order will be vaguely followed.

IEEE-SA AFFIRMS ACTION Default is IEEE-SA supports all TC or CMP Actions as reported in the Ballot Package provided by NFPA. No statement is required, but one could be made for clarification when agreed to at this meeting.

IEEE-SA OPPOSING ACTION IEEE-SA opposes TC or CMP Action if: 1. ER meeting agrees there is a technical basis to do so; 2. ER straw vote opposed TC or CMP action and ER meeting agrees there is a technical reason to do; 3. ER meeting agrees the TC or CMP action does not represent good engineering practice NOTE. These all require supporting statement
