2 TG7m conducted a task group letter ballot review of draft D5
September 2017 IEEE a Background TG7m conducted a task group letter ballot review of draft D5 Draft D1 was issued at the end of October, 2016. There were 826 technical comments and 251 editorial comments. Draft D2 was issued at end of March, 2017. For D2, there were 362 technical comments and 36 editorial comments. Draft D3 was issued at the middle of June, 2017. For D3, there were 407 technical comments and 41 editorial comments. There are 2 postponed technical comments. Draft D4 was issued at the middle of August, 2017. For D4, there were 285 technical comments and 26 editorial comments. Yeong Min Jang, Kookmin University.

5 Plans for November meeting
September 2017 IEEE a Plans for November meeting D5 comment resolution Request (conditional) approval for Letter Ballot PHY VI schedule - Oct. 1 All the supplemental text for the D4 comment resolution will be uploaded to the Mentor - Oct. 15 Clean and complete text and text of PHY VI based on the D4 comment resolution to be provided to the Mentor by SNUST - Oct 17 Submit feedbacks against the above text to the Mentor Yeong Min Jang, Kookmin University.

<month year> doc.: IEEE <doc#> September 2017 IEEE a Motion: based upon the discussion of doc 17/471r0, PHY6 ad-hoc report, there are technical issues that need to be addressed in some of the PHY 6 modes prior to going to letter ballot.  Therefore, it is moved that we postpone letter ballot until after the November meeting to give the participant’s time to resolve these technical issues.  This includes a report out to the whole committee in November for additional editing prior to insertion into the draft.
