Location They lived in the Northeast part of California. Their homes were on the edges of the mountains and valleys. It was sunny in summers and snowy in winters.

Shelter They have underground houses that keep them warm. They are made out of wood and clay.

Food They hunted deer, rabbits, and squirrels and made it in to soup. They picked out berries. They gathered acorns and ground them down into flour.

Culture They make tattoos out of fish bone and tree needle. They are famous for their fancy baskets.
