MLA PowerPoint Bibliography and Note Cards How to create an outline with your electronic source cards and notecards.

Instructions You will be creating an outline and a works cited all in one.

Instructions First save your PowerPoint note cards using save as. For example, use: Kramer.Kosmo.9A.Documentary Outline

Instructions “Electronic bibliography cards” and note-cards can easily be sorted by going to “view” and choosing “slide sorter”. Highlight and drag “cards” into the order needed. This helps you create an outline easily and quickly.

Sorting Slides At the bottom of the PowerPoint screen, click on the viewer. that has 4 panes to represent slides. The Screen will look like this:

How to Sort Cards Click on the slide you want to move. It will be outlined. Simply drag the slide where you want it in your outline.

Sorting Source Cards First choose all your source cards – these are the cards with your sources and your annotation of the source. Simply drag those slides to the top of your slide presentation.

How to Sort Cards Now choose the notes you will be using in project in the order you will be using them.. Click on the slide you want to move. It will be outlined. Simply drag the slide where you want it in your outline. Delete any notes you are not using.

Making An Outline On the left side of your screen, click on the second square. (The one that looks like lines.)

Making An Outline On the left side of your screen, you will see the slides in outline format.

Saving an Outline Go to file. Click Print.

Saving an Outline Choose Outline from the drop down menu under Print What.

Saving an Outline as a PDF file. Instead of printing, click on PDF, choose save as PDF.
