Why Do We Have Governments? organized ways for creating laws/rules protect the well-being of the general public help manage conflict

Why Do We Have Governments? They determine the power structure within a country. one person/party maintains centralized control? power is shared between individuals and factions?

How Is Power Shared?

Federal Government Federal– Power is shared by a powerful central government and the state/local governments. States or provinces are given considerable self rule, usually through their own legislatures. Examples: United States Israel Germany
