Generational Interviews Group Reflection

Have one person facilitate the discussion and one person record your answers to the questions. Please record in pages or in word on your iPad – be sure you put everyone’s name on the document. Responses that are typed up do not have to be in complete sentences, just be sure they reflect each person in the group and what they share. Once you finish the reflection please save as PDF to your dropbox and then upload into turnitin! You only need one submission to turnitin for your group!

Start by having everyone identify who they interviewed and why they chose that person. Then, go through the following questions and record your responses . . . . What is something that surprised you about the interview that you completed? Of the generational characteristics that you had questions on, which seemed most important/influential for your interviewee? Which seemed least important? Do you share any similarities with your interviewee? If so, what are they? Do you feel that your interviewee sits right in the generation s/he fall in? (You might want to look back at the characteristics we worked with when we watched the TED talk!) After completing the interview, what would be five words that you would use to describe your interviewee’s life in high school.
