Disarray Denotation: (n.) disorder, confusion; (v.) to throw into disorder Connotation: negative Synonyms: (n.) chaos, disorganization; Antonyms: (n.) organization, order, tidiness Word in a sentence: During tax season, Hank’s desk is cluttered in disarray with hundreds of receipts.
