Who wore it? Start by asking “Who would wear the ballet shoes?” (continue same questions for cleats and flip flops) Pose the question- Why do people wear different types of shoes? (for different purposes, different preferences” Explain to the class that just like we may need different shoes for different activities, we also have different needs and preferences in the classroom. Making our classroom work for ALL of us! We all have different learning styles, needs, and areas of strength. To meet all of our needs, sometimes we will work in groups. Groups will help us all be successful!

Good Listeners… look at the speaker. turn their ears on and their mouths off while others are sharing. think carefully about the speakers ideas. ask questions when they don’t understand or want to learn more.
