How will you take care of your research data? Have a plan Good data management plans help projects run smoothly Keep things safe Is data securely stored and regularly backed up? Explain everything What needs recording to ensure data remains intelligible? Stay organised Which tools or techniques will help get the most from your data? This presentation is designed for use in induction sessions, or anywhere where a brief introduction to research data management is needed. It uses animations to reveal information gradually: view in slideshow mode to see everything. Taking good care of your research data is an integral part of doing good research. This slide lists a few key areas to think about. [Images on this slide other than funder logos are Microsoft clip art. Used with permission from Microsoft.
