O R D E R Nr. 541 / 10.05.2000 GENERAL PROVISIONS The inspection activity is compulsory for the economic and social activities with impact on the environment and is accomplished by environment inspectors accredited by central environmental authority The inspection activity will progress prior for activities/targets with significant impact The inspection activity has a ceaseless character. The inspection activity is carried out periodically and in different time funds from one target to another, depending on the impact produced on the environment. O R D E R Nr. 541 / 10.05.2000 THE FINAL STAGE The presentation of the inspection report issued to be approved by the chief inspector The information of the environment authority’s leadership in order to getting the approval, with a view to notify the legal bodies to start the criminal investigation and issue the “Criminal Complaint File” etc The pursuit, at territorial level, of the cashing and/or transmitting to the Public Finances General Direction and State Financial Control (GDFPCFS) of the offending sanctions applied according to the legislation in force. O R D E R Nr. 541 / 10.05.2000 PUBLIC ACCESS TO INFORMATION TEPI sets the inspection reports’ register, where registration is done in the order of issuing these reports. TEPI will put at the public consultations disposal, on request, any document or data obtained or resulted from the inspection and the measures set after inspection. TEPI will make it public through written, visual, audio, electronic information, at least twice a year, any information regarding the state of the environment, given the quality of all the environment factors and the interaction in-between; the local environment policy, the plans and programs developed by the environment authority and the most important measures enforced to the economic operators Ministry of Waters and Environmental Protection, ROMANIA
