3 How to develop a project proposal (Do you have what it takes?!!)
Do you have an idea for a cross border project? Do you have a specific idea which can be translated into objectives and activities? Have you involved key stakeholders? Do you have sufficient time for preparation that will turn ideas into well developed projects?

4 Partnerships & eligible partners
min2<max 5partners At least one partner from each country from the Programme area eligible & adjacent One Overall Lead Partner/Two Lead Partners (established and accredited under an instrument governed by the internal law of the respective country for at least 12 months ) Cooperation in one of the following ways: Joint development Joint implementation Joint staffing Joint financing

3 types of partners national, regional or local public authorities; bodies governed by public law (must be operational for at least 12 months) private organizations Branches: Bodies governed by public law or private organisations participating through a branch must be operational for at least 12 months

6 Project Budget & Project Duration
Minimum project budget: € Maximum project budget : € Minimum budget per project partner: Not lower than € The total amount of funding for the Greek Project Partners or the Albanian Project Partners respectively should not overcome 55% of the project’s total budget. Project Duration Maximum duration of a project proposal: 24 months

Application Form (standard excel form provided) Partnership Declaration (standard form provided) A commitment among the project partners stating that they agree: to undertake the respective actions described in the project proposal to cooperate for the implementation of the project concerned to contribute by committing human resources, know-how, infrastructure, equipment, access to information, promotion and publicity and coverage of the eligible costs of the action according to European Union Legislation Co-Financing Statement-Non Double Financing (standard form provided) A statement filled and signed by each partner separately declaring that they agree to provide the amount specified in the Application Form as Co-Financing and a confirmation that the proposed project is not funded by any other EU Programme

Declaration of not generating revenues (standard form provided) A Declaration stating that the project does not generate revenues Specification of Budget Costs (standard form provided) Analysis and justification of the project budget completed by both LPs Maturity Sheet (standard form provided) The form is completed by each Lead Partner for all partners that fall under his responsibility. It mainly concerns infrastructure projects, the purchasing of heavy equipment or land acquisition. If the project does not include such actions, the “NO ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES REQUIRED “ box. Compatibility Check Sheet (standard form provided) This form is completed by taking into account the environmental indicators pdf file found in the call documents

Official documents providing evidence that bodies governed by public law meet the criteria specified in section 6.b of the call’s announcement Official documents and statutes proving the existence of the private organisation Official documents proving the existence of a branch within the programme area for bodies governed by public law and bodies governed by private law

Infrastructure projects must include the relevant accompanying documents providing the maturity of the proposed project A CD/DVD-ROM including the electronic version of the proposal and all documents referred to previously and those specified for the Lead Partner in Albania

Managing Authority no later than 21 days before the submission of the proposals. Answers shall be agreed by both contracting authorities and shall be published at the above sites no later than 11 days before the deadline for the submission of proposals
