She walks in beauty

Summary In this poem the narrator compares an unnamed woman to beautiful but dark things like a cloudless starry night contrasting her beauty between light and dark the narrator not only describes her physical beauty but also how she carries herself as beautiful like she has an aurora about her which makes her beautiful The contrast between light and dark not only describes how unique her beauty is but also that everything about her is in perfect balance removing anything from her would make her less beautiful

Author: George Gordon, Lord Byron The speaker feels that the woman's heart is pure and innocent along with her beauty Her beauty represents a cloudless starry night The narrator describes the woman's physical beauty but also expresses her nature as innocent and sweet which also makes her beautiful
