Art movement is a style in art with a specific common philosophy or goal, followed by a group of artists during a restricted period of time. An art movement usually takes months, years and decades to be completed. Art movement has existed since 100,000 years ago Famous examples are: Impressionism Cubism Pop Art

Cubism is an early-20th-century avant-garde art movement that revolutionized European painting and sculpture, and inspired related movements in music, literature and architecture. Cubism has been considered the most influential art movement of the 20th century. Some examples of famous cubism artworks: Glass in a Table Tate Harbor in Normandy

 George Braque was a major 20th- century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. Braque was mostly interested in Fauvism and Cubism.  Braque became more interested in volume and structure, strongly influenced by Paul Cézanne. He met Pablo Picasso at this time, and together they developed Cubism.  Sadly, George Braque died in 1963 due to a blocked clot of blood in his brain.
