Tay Sachs vs Sickle cell

The 4 elements

Van der Waals forces The natural stickiness of an atom

Electrostatic charge Electrons that can change their charge The same charge repels.

S-S bonds Sulfur sulfur bonds Anytime there is two systine they will find a way to stick together. They form a sulfur bridge.

Hydrogen bonds Only occur in water.

Hydrophilic ASP GLU THr Asn GLn Ser His Lys Arg Love of water polar possitive snd negative charges

Hydrophobic Phr Val Lle Leu Pro Ala Gly Trp Fear and hate of water non polar nutral

Tay sachs and sickle cell The are the same because they both show signs at a young age. They both are problems with the cardiovascular. They both are recessive. They are different because Tay Sachs WILL kill you and you Can live with sickle cell. One is predominate in Jewish people and the other is African americans.
