3 Structure of cytochrome
Molecular Structure of cytochrome

4 Cytochrome is a protein with a “iron-containing porphyrin ring”
Cytochrome is a protein with a “iron-containing porphyrin ring”. Cytochrome aids in the creation of oxygen by moving electrons one at a time, making cytochrome c oxidase wait for 4 electrons so it can react with oxygen. The movement of electrons releases energy aiding in the formation of ATP, the body's main source of energy.

5 While researching Cytochrome and its role in ATP I discovered "Tridenosen" or "Tridenosen H" which is basically ATP that you can inject. It aids in faster muscle recovery and stimulates more muscle fibers. It also increases your energy levels.

6 Organisms that use Cytochrome
Every organism that uses oxygen to produce energy, uses cytocrome.

I chose this protein because it seemed interesting and I wanted to learn about it.
