Code to the Future: 2nd Grade Showcase 1: The Maze

Welcome: We are one of the first computer science immersion schools in Southern California Today we are here to show you what we have been working on for this semester

Computer Science: What is Computer Science? It is the study of computers and their uses. What did we do this trimester? We learn how to code in Computer Science using block based coding. Coding is the same thing as computer programming. Programming is writing the language that makes up computer software, web pages, mobile apps, and other related technology components.

The Process: We created a maze as our Epic Build We learned how to add sprites and backdrops We learned how to use the drawing tools We learned how to create a multilevel game We learned to speak computer language We created a maze as our Epic Build

This is an overview of what every grade has learned in this trimester (cycle 1) and will be learning in the next 2 trimesters.
