What is an argument? A stand on an issue and seeks to persuade an audience Which of the following is an argument? (pp. 25-26) No, it is not. It is just a description of how parents from the least developed countries feel about education provided by local schools. It does not take a stand on an issue and does not try to persuade the readers.

Yes it is. It tries to persuade the readers that social media facilitates learning. It argues that social media does not distract people from learning. Rather, social media benefits low income families in education. Evidence from Brazil is given to support the argument.

What is a good argument? Read p.27-28 and discuss. Fair Unbiased Logical EVIDENCE-BASED
