Practical Tips for Supporting GCSE Revision. 16/02/2019

Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar. This must be accurate for Grade 4 and above. Remind your child to build five minutes into their time to check their writing. Support them in practising their core skills. 16/02/2019

How to help your child revise. QUIZ THEM. MAKE SURE THEY ARE QUIZZING THEMSELVES. Every pupil has quotations for all the texts studied and they are quizzed regularly on these at school. Please test them at home. Texts studied are: Macbeth, Sign of Four, Anthology Poetry and DNA. Also test them on themes and characters within the set texts. Which poems can be compared together and how. Most importantly, make sure they are doing their homework. 16/02/2019
