Culturally Responsive Training Talent Management Director Lee Simmons Talent Management Director July 12, 2018

Culturally Responsive Training Consent Order Tasks: Report the topic, duration, presenter, and participants in the area of Culturally Responsive Training. Each new teacher will receive 7 hours of culturally responsive training. Each teacher, counselor and administrator will include a cultural diversity indicator in a Professional Learning Plan. Refresher training will be conducted as needed at the district and/or school level.

Culturally Responsive Training Proposal New Teacher Orientation – TMT Group, Inc. will provide 3 hours of training in the areas of: Personal Cultural Assessments Appropriate and Inappropriate Interactions Implicit and Explicit Bias Follow up site based support will also be provided in areas of greatest need. Administrator Refresher Training – TMT Group will provide four hours of training embedded in scheduled principals meetings. PowerPoint presentations and materials will be provided to be used for any future trainings. A district team of 4-6 people will attend both new teacher and admin trainings to build capacity and prepare to facilitate future sessions.
