What is pollution? Pollution is the smoke and rubbish in the environment that makes the earth dirty and bad.

What do Chinese people do that makes so much pollution? People always set up to many factories, cut down the trees and drive cars.

What are the effects of pollution? The earth will be ill, the weather will be bad and the animals will die.

Red water Red water is red tide, is something different in the ocean. It is caused by red tide algae. So much algae grows on top of the water so the sun can’t shine into the water. All of the plants in the water die.

Compare the pollution in the past and now! The pollution in the past and now both are bad, but the pollution in the past is less than now.

LAND POLLUTION The people dig floor for the gold and anything. The land is so bad.

Water pollution So many machines pour some dirty water in the river. The fish will be ill or die.

Air pollution The machines will make some smoke, the birds can’t fly and the air is so dirty.

Sea pollution The oil in the sea is a problem. The sea birds, the fish, and the animals are trapped in the oil and can’t fly or swim and die.

Sound pollution The car or KTV make some big sound. The people can’t understand.
