Click the 21 Century Skills activity- Collaboration and Creativity: Problem Solving

Click Skill Activity: Problem Solving and follow along with the slides.

To move through the slides click the arrows at the bottom right of the screen. At the top right of the screen there is the word Extras. Click on this for vocabulary information about that particular page.

When you come to this slide be sure to go use the arrows on the black screen to see how the children solve the problem.

Use slide #4 and #5 to model your thinking and responses for the students.

Continue modeling for students Continue modeling for students. Be sure to type your answers in so you can show them how to do this later on their own.

Idea: Have students in partners or in groups brainstorm ideas of what the problem is in the picture. Don’t forget the POSERS strategy to analyzing a picture. Then have them come up with ideas of ways to fix the problem. They can write responses in their LA/SS Notebook.
