Response/Relation to title? What is the audience’s (or your) emotional response? Here, it might be: Hardy has seemed too relaxed and jokey all along Sherriff is contrasting Hardy and Osborne to set up a clear difference between the characters. How can we relate to the question? An Officer’s first responsibility is to his men, not to himself Hardy shows little respect towards Osborne, who is trying to do his job properly. Jonathan Peel JLS 2015
