Theme Map for Year 3: Summer 2 2016 Theme – Let us choose Home Learning set on Tuesdays and due back on the following Mondays. *Use a range of digital devices to design and create a range of programs and content. *Developing skills for the game of cricket. Please encourage your child to read each day *Further developing skills and confidence in gymnastics. *Reading and responding to a range of non-fiction texts about the children’s chosen topic. *Instructions – learning about features and how to effectively use them. PE English ICT *Comparing and contrasting land use in the past and present day. *identify and describe the functions of different parts of flowering plants: roots, stem/trunk, leaves and flowers * explore the requirements of plants for life and growth (air, light, water, nutrients from soil, and room to grow) and how they vary from plant to plant Year 3 Let us choose!
