Salvation: It’s Sure Enough! We Can Have Salvation! The Sure Location of Salvation: In Christ Strength in Christ (2 Sam. 22:1-3, 47; Eph. 6:10) Safety in Christ (Psa. 71:1-3; John 10:27-28; Rom. 8:38-39) Solace in Christ (Eph. 2:14; 2 Thess. 3:16; Rom. 5:1-5) Salvation in Christ (2 Tim. 2:10; Eph. 1:7)

Salvation: It’s Sure Enough! We Can Have Salvation! The Sure Location of Salvation: In Christ The Sure Means of Salvation: The Blood of Christ In His death, Jesus shed the cure for sin (John 19:34; Rev. 1:5) In our obedience, we encounter the cure for sin (Ro. 6:17, 3-4) Christ’s blood (the double cure) cleanses from: The punishment we deserve (Gal. 3:13; Heb. 8:12; Ro. 6:23; 3:25) The power of sin in our lives (1 Pet. 2:24; Phil. 3:8-11; Tit. 2:14)

Salvation: I Can’t Do Enough! We Cannot Earn Our Salvation! Hard work and fervency cannot save (Eph. 2:9; Tit. 3:5) Hard work is necessary (1 Cor. 15:58; Jas. 2:14-26; Eph. 2:10) Fervency is necessary (Rom. 12:11; 2 Tim. 2:15; Heb. 11:6) But neither have the power to save (Isa. 64:6) Only Jesus can save (Jn. 14:6; Acts 4:11-12; Tit. 2:13-14) Jesus only saves those who obey Him (Mt. 7:21; Hb. 5:9)

Salvation: I’m Not Good Enough! We Must Treasure Our Salvation! On my own: I am “nothing” (Rom. 7:24) I am “naked” (Rev. 3:17) Because of the cross: I can “be clothed” (Gal. 3:27; Eph. 4:24; 1 Cor. 15:53-54) I can “find grace” (Gal. 1:3-4; 1 Tim. 1:14-15; Heb. 4:16) I can “be continually washed in the fountain” (1 John 1:7) Thank You, Jesus, my Rock, for saving me from my sin!!! I am “helpless” (John 15:5) I am “vile” (Rom. 1:22-26)
