His mercies and compassions are seen:

In His restraint (2 Pet. 3:9, 15)
In His forgiveness (Tit. 3:3-7)
In His promise of heaven (1 Pet. 1:3-5)

5. The Biblical Prescription
“Pursue…holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14).

Be immersed into Christ – Romans 6:3-4
God will forgive all of your sins – Acts 2:38
God will add you to His church – Acts 2:47
