Boston Region MPO: Who Are We? 101 cities and towns 22 voting members RTAC MPO has decision making power over 5-7 million in the UPWP and 70-90 million in the TIP

Central Transportation Planning Staff (CTPS) and the Role of the UPWP CTPS Facts Staff to the MPO Separate from MAPC, the RPA Full-time staff size of 60-65; 24 interns or part-time

Role of UPWP UPWP is our only staff budget A couple key areas of work programmed in the UPWP include: Transit Work (MBTA funded) Highway Work (MassDOT funded) All Travel Demand Modeling Balance between MPO and Agency work
