Grooming Standards Female: 3 Inches in bulk max Not below the collar (rear edge) Color must be a natural color Male: Tapered appearance on sides and back Sideburns not below lowest ear opening Clean shaven at all times while in uniform

Alternate Uniform Business casual Close-toed shoes Conservative No jeans No athletic shoes
Accessories Watches: Earrings: - Must be conservative Prohibited examples: - Neon or bright colors - Bands that exceed 1-inch in width - Novelty (i.e. cartoon character) watches Earrings: -Must be conservative and will not be more than 6mm in diameter 1 2 3 4 5 6 Millimeter
Accessories Bracelets must: -Conservative/plain -No more than ½ inch in width -Not support a cause, a person, a philosophy or group Exceptions: Medical Alert/ID bracelets are authorized Traditional metal POW/MIA/KIA bracelets, which come in colors besides silver, bronze, or gold, remain authorized
Accessories Cosmetics: If worn by females, nail polish will be a single color that does not distinctly contrast with the Airmen’s complexion, or is an extreme color Male Airmen are not authorized to wear nail polish or other cosmetics
