How do you write a Saga? Start by thinking of a story you know really well Think about plot, character and setting. Plan your ideas, write a sentence or bullet point for each area and summarize events that happen in the beginning of the story Summaries events that happen in the middles of the story Summaries the end Write a version of the story that isn’t too long, maybe with a twist at the end. Shorten your story. Take out any words that are not absolutely necessary, replace words with punctuation or use different / shorter noun phrases. Now shorten your story again. At this point you may need to change words or sentences to make no more than 100 Extension: Can you reduce your mini saga to 50 words? Remember creative punctuation will help.
