What Is K-12? “Kindergarten and the 12 years of elementary and secondary education” Kindergarten- 5-year old child goes through standardized curriculum for preschoolers Elementary education - 6 years of primary school (Grades 1-6) Secondary education - Junior high school (Grades 7-10) Senior High School - Grades 11-12 (Dep Ed Primer 2011)

Competencies Developed in Career Learning and Counseling Program By end of Grade 4, students will be able to: Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of work of family members, school personnel, and community workers Demonstrate ability to obtain information about jobs from parents, relatives, adult friends and/or neighbors and share that information with classmates
