Faiva Ora – National Pasifika Disability Plan Faiva Ora – National Pasifika Disability Plan was formally launched in parliament October 2010 Faiva Ora focuses on strengthening disability workforce, improve systematic and service responsiveness to Pacific disabled peoples and to address barriers including traditional perspectives of disability.

Why did Minister of Health choose Le Va? Ministry of Health Disability Support Services contracted Le Va – Pasifika within Te Pou, to implement Faiva Ora – National Pasifika Disability Plan March Le Va strengths includes; Organisational capability and capacity supported through external shared support services agency. Ability to work with Pacific peoples and communities and meet the needs of targeted audience Quality of services and innovation Experience working with government

How do we foster Open Communication Ministry of Health and Le Va relationship developed and strengthened through ongoing open communication eg Joint partnership approach at launch of Faiva Ora Shared understanding and communication of processes within Ministry of Health and Le Va that would impact the relationship eg Organisation approval processes
