Formatting     Margins are adjusted to 1” around all sides Font is TIMES NEW ROMAN- 12 pt (adjustable by teacher) Page number is created by the following steps in MS Word: “Insert”, “Page Number”, “Top of the Page”, “Plain number 3”

Choose Page Layout Margins Normal (1” margins all around) Select Times New Roman Select 12-pt font ***This can be altered based on the teacher’s discretion. ***

 Insert Last Name and Page Number First line of heading should be first, last name of student 

Include Name of Teacher on the second line (do not use first names of teacher and add the Title of the teacher a.k.a. Mr. or Mrs. or Ms. Include Name of Class on the third line (spelled out & the level number at the end a.k.a. Language Arts 3-4)   Include the date on the last line of the heading spelled out(December 1, 20XX) Include the title after a double space from the heading. Center justify the title.  
