Discovery Learning Center The Newest Member of the Discovery Park Team Founding Vision: Transform new discoveries in Discovery Park into new learning Expanded Vision: How do interdisciplinary teams learn and discover? How are new discoveries about learning transformed into new teaching approaches? How do we assess and evaluate new approaches to learning?

Discovery Learning Center Will Become A Landmark at Purdue where faculty and student collaborations across schools lead to explorations of new technologies and pedagogies related to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning A Beacon to educators and the general public in Indiana, the nation and beyond for advances in STEM learning

Discovery Learning Center More Specifically “The Learning Center will provide opportunities for faculty, students and pre-service and in-service teachers to gain new skills, to learn new technologies and to participate in the excitement of discovery.”

Discovery Learning Center Will Include Flexible classroom and laboratory space (e.g., “Black box” teaching theater, etc.) State of the art distance learning capabilities Interactive displays highlighting rich history of discovery at Purdue Offices and seminar rooms for grant-supported faculty, staff and students
