Roles Behavior associated w/ status Rights- behaviors expected from others Obligations- behavior expected towards others Role Performance- behavior of individual in a role Social Interaction- process of influencing each other as people relate

Roles cont… Role Conflict- performance of role in one status interferes with roles of another; student & employee Role Strain- can’t meet many roles of single status
