Book Synopsis In the novel hatchet written by Gary Paulsen a thirteen year old boy by the name of brian was flying on a plane when the pilot suddenly has a heart attack and while brian does survive the crash since he managed to keep it level until the end that is only the beginning.

About The Author Gary Paulsen was born in May 17, 1939 is an American writer of young adult interest best known for writing stories of the wilderness he has written more than 200 books and magazine articles.

Would I Recommend It If you have an interest in wilderness or young adult books I would recommend this book for you as it is a great book and an exhilarating experience book to read .
