INFORMAL SECTOR In the SNA framework UN STATISTICS DIVISION 1

SNA Household sector Informal sector Not informal Demarcation of production boundary of each subsector is necessary of surveying purpose in order to avoid double counting or incomplete coverage: Production, income or labor covered by establishment survey should not be covered by the survey on informal sector that rely on household surveys. Production, income or labor surveyed through agriculture statistics based on land use and other techniques should also not be covered by establishment survey or household surveys.

Household sector Data are collected by household sampling or some proxies Data are collecting by harvesting and similar method. Household data is derived by subtracting data from corporations Data are collecting by area sampling or household surveys.
