Mens health National Week 2010 Program Conference about the topic : Prevention and promotion of: mental health, dependence, suicide, overweight, sport, risk situations, dangerous situations during the work and in traffic,

Free health Screening: Budapest and 12 other cities: (mainly industrial employees) -Blood sugar estimation, blood-pressure monitoring, cholesterin level monitoring, and BMI counting -More than 500 participant -Large number of men who participated in this program were under 40 In Budapest, screenings took place in 4 spas: - Blood sugar estimation, blood-pressure monitoring, nutrition counseling, urological counseling - Who participated in this program were between In this year 14 person take a successful exam in the subject of mens health monitoring. (this course is ongoing)

Gender Budgeting In the framework of a pilot project in Hungary, a national study was done supported by the former Ministry of Health, Social Affairs and Family. The study analyzed the budget of three cities of different sizes, from the aspect of gender differences in the money spent on cultural and sport activities. This study tries to present the situation of men and women in different settlements. The focus of gender budgeting is to monitor how governmental decisions affect girls and women.

National Strategy to Improve Equality between Men and Women The Government of the Hungarian republic created a programme for successful, modern, just Hungary for , It contains a chapter about Equality of Women. It also includes the governments commitment to the social equality of men and women. Based on this programme, the government worked out a resolution with the aim of gender mainstreaming, called National Strategy to Improve Equality between Men and Women.
